The Fields Family

     I have grown up in the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints but that doesn't mean I have always had a testimony, we had a lesson in relief society today that got me thinking about my "conversion" story...I was lost but now I'm found. Sometimes you have to get lost before you know where home is!      Growing up my family was "inactive" until I was around 8, we would go to church for a while then get out of the habit again it was something we just did sometimes...Then my family started going regularly it became something we just did on Sunday's.       As a teenager I went to church with my family, but at that time I didn't really have a strong testimony I knew it was a good place to be, but at that time my mentality was that people related to God in different ways and that is why everyone worshippers differently and why there were so many different churches. I then graduated high school and moved out with a good friend ...

       So let's talk about how awesome Al Carraway is!! So I like to claim her as my BFF who doesn't know me haha. She is so inspiring and always has a message to share that fits in line with my life and what I'm going through and it has helped me get through so many trials that our family has gone through the last year. If you haven't read her books or follow her vlog  you really really should she is amazing! She just wrote a new book and it's coming out this month, I am so excited I can't wait to read it!     I'm secretly wishing we will run into each other some day you know we both live in Arizona now so maybe..... (LoL). I believe a best friend is someone who uplifts you and inspires you to be better and that's what Al does for me, she is optimistic about life and it's refreshing, she inspires me to be the same way!! I have a long way to go for sure, but it is a work in progress! Friends should never bring you down or make you feel like you ...

                                                I love this quote! This is exactly how I feel. Have you ever tried soooo hard and wanted something so bad!? But every time you try it just gets harder!? Why is that?     Our family has had our fair share of struggles for sure, I have enough to share with all of you! I jokingly say that our family is cursed with bad luck...but I know every family has struggles and we are not unique in that way, we all have different struggles some bigger than others. I think I'm one of very few people who still have a flip phone, yes a flip phone... I constantly remind my mom and others that I DO NOT have a smart phone, you cannot send me links or pictures and I cannot even get emojis they come up as little square boxes of nothing!  It also takes me way longer to text remember you have to click the number buttons several times for the letter you need!? So sometimes I don't text back because it just takes too long so I end up just calling! I also do not have a cell phone bill soooo who's the smart one. When I am at work or elsewhere i always see others looking down at their phones engaged in whatever they are doing as I am just looking around trying to make conversation with some of these people they are only half listening to me! I usually bring a book to read when work is slow or I am waiting somewhere because I don't have a smart phone to keep me busy. I think it is so sad that we have become so addicted to our phones and ...

We made it to Arizona! It is beautiful here and the sunsets are amazing! Getting here was nothing short of a challenge...like pretty much everything our family tries to do, seems we always take the harder road, that's how you learn right!? At least that's how I like to think of it. The decision to move out here and start over was really hard we went back and forth with our decision, we had our worries and concerns for sure, but when you feel prompted by the spirit to do something even though it seems crazy and ridiculous you just do it! Things weren't exactly going the way we wanted them to in Joplin so we decided to take the leap of faith and move to Arizona my parents offered to let us stay with them while we settle in and figure life out...life is too short not To try new things and go new places. So we sold pretty much EVERYTHING fit the rest of our families belongings into a small trailer that we pulled behind our car, with no jobs in Arizona which was terrifying esp...

Jack loves his baby cousin Jocelyn although he really wants her to play with him she is still a little young for hot wheels but soon enough Jack and Jocelyn will be runing around together! He gives her kisses and wants to hold her and give her hugs, she always has a big smile for him and loves to watch him run around. Jack is going to be a great big brother..(needs a little work on sharing..) But he will be so good Jocelyn is good practice :) holding Jocelyn giving her kisses
