When your BFF doesn't know who you are...(it's Al Carraway! )

     So let's talk about how awesome Al Carraway is!! So I like to claim her as my BFF who doesn't know me haha. She is so inspiring and always has a message to share that fits in line with my life and what I'm going through and it has helped me get through so many trials that our family has gone through the last year. If you haven't read her books or follow her vlog  you really really should she is amazing! She just wrote a new book and it's coming out this month, I am so excited I can't wait to read it!
    I'm secretly wishing we will run into each other some day you know we both live in Arizona now so maybe..... (LoL). I believe a best friend is someone who uplifts you and inspires you to be better and that's what Al does for me, she is optimistic about life and it's refreshing, she inspires me to be the same way!! I have a long way to go for sure, but it is a work in progress! Friends should never bring you down or make you feel like you aren't good enough, they should uplift you and support you.
      I have always been kinda an introvert, I never had lots of friends or felt like I really needed them really, I was pretty content on my own for the most part.  In high school my senior year I would eat lunch with a foreign exchange student from Korea, I could barely understand her when she would talk to me so it was hard to have a conversation sometimes but we both liked hello kitty so instant friends hahaha, sometimes I would just eat lunch in my car to avoid "people". Looking back now I wish I would have been more social and got to know more people, I feel like I had opportunities for many friendships but I didn't give them the chance, after high school I remember just realizing hey if I keep turning down invites I'm not going to get invited anymore so I told myself  Im Going to accept every invite I get and I did and because of that decision I was able to meet lots of amazing people including my husband!  I really enjoy people who are genuine and real who don't pretend to be perfect and put on fake smiles, you know, and Al is always putting her true self out there the good and the bad and her smile is Real!
        I just want Al to know how much her friendship means to me even though she doesn't know me, she has been there for me and inspired me and given me hope when I have felt hopeless and alone. Thank you Al for sharing your story, and your family and sharing your sweet spirit with all of us!

We made it to Arizona! It is beautiful here and the sunsets are amazing! Getting here was nothing short of a challenge...like pretty much everything our family tries to do, seems we always take the harder road, that's how you learn right!? At least that's how I like to think of it. The decision to move out here and start over was really hard we went back and forth with our decision, we had our worries and concerns for sure, but when you feel prompted by the spirit to do something even though it seems crazy and ridiculous you just do it! Things weren't exactly going the way we wanted them to in Joplin so we decided to take the leap of faith and move to Arizona my parents offered to let us stay with them while we settle in and figure life out...life is too short not To try new things and go new places. Trials of faith!

  We always talk about faith and what it takes to have faith but when it comes down to us using our faith do we have the strength we need to continue in faith?    It is very hard when you feel inspired to do something like ( moving to Az.)  then excercizing your faith to move not knowing why or what the outcome will be....in my case Arizona was filled with so many life lessons for me and my family that are priceless and so many memories made with my family including Emily my younger sister having her second baby it was such a blessing to be there for her and get to know her sweet baby boy Clark and daughter Jane I love them so much!! We were also able to see my brother in law Cameren get baptized which was such a special day and blessing that we were able to be a part of such a special memory I will never forget!!     My kids love their cousins Iris asked me everyday is Avery coming over or I want to go to Averys house!
