Christmas at The Steed Home!

  I'm new at this blogging thing so..here it goes!
    We enjoyed Christmas this year at my parents house it was really special to be able to spend time with them before we left for our move out to Missouri. We were there for about 3wks and Jack learned all about stairs and cats and dogs, he really enjoyed having the animals around and of course his cousins! Jack loved playing with his cousins Ethan and Ella even though Jack would take everything Ella was playing with away from her....he hasnt got the sharing thing down yet! He would laugh histarically at his funny cousin Ethan, he is missing them!!
    Jack also loved being with his grandma and grandpa! he always wanted to help grandma vacume and he also hid her phone in the freezer...we looked everywhere for it,,he is good at hiding lol! He also learned lots about starting a fire from grandpa he loved it, he played with the empty matchbox for days! He would run toward the woodstove everytime grandpa started a fire and say "HOT". He is missing his grandpa and grandma Steed!
      Jack always loved to explore in aunt Emilys room too, and go in her room in the morning to say "HI". We had an awesome Christmas program with Derrick playing guitar and everyone singing carols together and reading about Jesus Birth out of th Bible, Emily read the Night Before Christmas for us and I did the Symbols of Christmas! It was a very memorable Christmas that We will cherish for years!

Starting over AGAIN.....

We made it to Arizona! It is beautiful here and the sunsets are amazing! Getting here was nothing short of a challenge...like pretty much everything our family tries to do, seems we always take the harder road, that's how you learn right!? At least that's how I like to think of it. The decision to move out here and start over was really hard we went back and forth with our decision, we had our worries and concerns for sure, but when you feel prompted by the spirit to do something even though it seems crazy and ridiculous you just do it! Things weren't exactly going the way we wanted them to in Joplin so we decided to take the leap of faith and move to Arizona my parents offered to let us stay with them while we settle in and figure life out...life is too short not To try new things and go new places. Trials of faith!

  We always talk about faith and what it takes to have faith but when it comes down to us using our faith do we have the strength we need to continue in faith?    It is very hard when you feel inspired to do something like ( moving to Az.)  then excercizing your faith to move not knowing why or what the outcome will be....in my case Arizona was filled with so many life lessons for me and my family that are priceless and so many memories made with my family including Emily my younger sister having her second baby it was such a blessing to be there for her and get to know her sweet baby boy Clark and daughter Jane I love them so much!! We were also able to see my brother in law Cameren get baptized which was such a special day and blessing that we were able to be a part of such a special memory I will never forget!!     My kids love their cousins Iris asked me everyday is Avery coming over or I want to go to Averys house! When your BFF doesn't know who you are...(it's Al Carraway! )

       So let's talk about how awesome Al Carraway is!! So I like to claim her as my BFF who doesn't know me haha. She is so inspiring and always has a message to share that fits in line with my life and what I'm going through and it has helped me get through so many trials that our family has gone through the last year. If you haven't read her books or follow her vlog  you really really should she is amazing! She just wrote a new book and it's coming out this month, I am so excited I can't wait to read it!     I'm secretly wishing we will run into each other some day you know we both live in Arizona now so maybe..... (LoL). I believe a best friend is someone who uplifts you and inspires you to be better and that's what Al does for me, she is optimistic about life and it's refreshing, she inspires me to be the same way!!
