Welcome to the Midwest!

Well we have arrived in Missouri! It has been quit the journey getting here..when we knew that we had to leave my Aunt and Uncles house as they returned from there mission in December a decison had to be made...where would we go? well we weighed out all of our options and with lots of thought and Prayers we knew that we needed to come to Missouri so here we are! our first few weeks were not the best and i was home sick just missing my family and the place i grew up in. We rented a U-box which we packed all our stuff in for the move and they were supposed to ship it out so it would be here when we got here...long story short they NEVER shipped it so after many hours and phone calls (Thanks to my awesome mother in-law!) we were able to figure it out and got some money back and FINALLY our stuff after living out of a suitcase for a month it was great to have our stuff and get all unpacked and organized! we were sick and to top it off Jack got a stomach bug that lasted a few days..so along with that i had officially stopped nursing him after 15mo.! it was rough for awhile there! Now we are settling in and getting into a routine we have our own little studio "apartment" at my inlaws place, they are such wonderful loving people and we are so blessed that they are willing to take us in, it has been such a blessing for us. life here in the midwest is a lot slower than the rush of California...no traffic..lots of cows and hay..and i have never seen so many old men in overalls lol!

Jack has been growing like crazy! where did my little baby Jack go...He is loving having his Grandma and Grandpa just a few steps away he knocks on Grandmas door and says "ma". He is trying to talk more and says "shoes" and sits on my lap with his shoes so i can put them on for him haha loves shoes just like his mom! He has also upgraded to a toddler bed! he sleeps in it for a few hours then cuddles with mom and dad.
